Featurecraft partnered with Waikato University to deliver a warm and welcoming lobby space at the Tauranga Student Village, the university’s vibrant accommodation facility in the Bay of Plenty. Using sustainably sourced solid Radiata Pine battens, our skilled team crafted an installation designed to foster a sense of community and comfort among students and visitors alike.
Radiata Pine was specifically chosen for its warm appearance and environmental credentials, perfectly aligning with the university’s commitment to sustainable construction practices. Our custom-designed battens effectively softened the contemporary architectural lines of the lobby, creating an inviting social hub conducive to study, relaxation, and collaboration.
