Solid timber with intumescent coating Group 1S fire rating (NZ)
Real timber veneer bonded onto MDF core makes for a strong and sturdy batten. Timber veneer is available in the colour choices shown.
Some MDF and timber veneer species are FSC® or PEFC™ certified - please ask for more information.

All battens are finished in the factory. Featurecraft clear flat varnish is our standard finish

Fasten batten in U-shaped bracket:
M6 joint connector bolt and M6 barrel nut

WOOD SUBSTRATE - Countersunk wood screws.
Acoustic panels can be incorporated into the divider system to make a screen, recommended at 25mm thick for greater acoustic performance. Rebates formed in the battens house the panels snug. The acoustic panels have a group 1 (Aus.) and group 1S (NZ) fire rating. Available in black.NRC rating up to 0.60 (depending on batten spacings)
