Acoustic backing panels can be 12mm (0.40 NRC) and 25mm (0.60 NRC) and are incorporated into the system for increased acoustic performance. To achieve up to 0.95 NRC an acoustic blanket will need to be used in conjunction with either system

The true versatility of this product comes from the veneer that is pressed onto the batten. Featurecraft offers dozens of timber veneer species ranging in shades from silvery greys to warm natural browns to bold and dramatic blacks. We can also apply timber stains to Fire Rated Timber Veneer Battens that have been finished with a natural veneer. Our wide variety of veneer and stain options enables a high degree of creative control, ensuring that architects and designers can fine-tune the visual composition of their environment.

To complement the Fire Rated Timber Veneer Batten range, Featurecraft also offers high pressure laminate (HPL) and melamine finishes. These highly durable, easily cleanable surfaces allow designers to bring the timber aesthetic into hygiene-sensitive or high impact settings, demonstrating yet again the unparalleled flexibility of FR Veneer Battens.

Featurecraft's Fire Rated Veneer Battens come in a variety of standard sizes and profiles that are guaranteed to elevate the aesthetics of any environment. In addition, for designers who seek a unique feature product, we go one step further and provide tailor-made battens in custom shapes and sizes. Our custom battens have been used for numerous feature walls and feature ceilings across New Zealand, with shapes ranging from curved waveforms that resemble local rivers to tapering silhouettes that dramatically transform static walls.
