Décor Planks are a tribute to the ridges and grooves that run along tree trunks in Aotearoa’s forests. Made from solid timber, these wall planks allow architects and designers to connect their interior environments to the wild beauty of the natural world, creating 3D wall designs that soothe, support, and inspire.
These solid timber wall planks are designed to emulate the textured beauty of battens, while offering greater flexibility in design. Décor planks come in a variety of sizes, with accessory strips available for added precision in design. They’re suitable for small-scale applications like detailing around booth seats, feature bedheads, bar front linings, and timber joinery. They're equally suitable for large-scale 3D wood plank feature walls or ceilings.

You can maximise the decorative impact of these 3D wooden wall planks by customising almost every aspect of their design. For base material, Featurecraft offers a choice of warmer American Oak or cooler American Ash wood. Wall planks are available in a selection of standard profiles, with custom designs available upon request. We can also finish these decorative 3D wooden wall planks with a natural clear-coat flat varnish or with custom stains and washes. We know that when it comes to visual design, even the tiniest details can have an extraordinary effect on the overall ambience and character of an environment. As well as being aesthetically optimised, our Décor Planks are remarkably fuss free. The process of wall installation is easy for these 3D wooden products: wall planks are designed to slot together with a tongue and groove join, while accessory strips can be butt jointed as required. These neat, sturdy joints ensure that your feature will look fantastic not just in the present, but well into the future of your built environment. Planks can also be machined to your desired size specifications, ensuring that the final appearance is perfectly tailored for your environment.

Décor Planks are three-dimensional planks made of solid timber. These products were specially designed by Featurecraft to suit fine joinery-grade detailing as well as large feature areas. Use Décor Planks to cover walls and ceilings in a dynamic multidimensional pattern, or employ it for trims, bar fronts, bedheads, and cabinetry. If you want sculpted depth with rapid installation, start here.
Our standard Décor Planks come in 100mm × 2400/2700/3000mm sizes, and our accessory strips are available in matching lengths. For profiles, you can choose from bevels, bullnoses, flutes, squares, or dozens of other Featurecraft options. We also offer custom sizing and profiles to support your design concept.
Décor Planks are tongue‑and‑groove fixed for quick alignment and clean lines, and accessory strips are butt jointed for easy installation. Planks can be direct fixed to walls and ceilings and are suitable for a range of substrates, including timber, plasterboard, and masonry. Décor Planks can also be fixed to curved spaces, end walls, and corners.

Décor Planks achieve a Group 3 (NZ) fire rating by default, with Group 1‑S is achievable via factory-applied intumescent coating. We offer a five-year warranty that guarantees the performance of our products. You can request our technical data sheet and warranty information through our Resource Library to help you build your consent pack.
Our Décor Planks are available in American Oak for warmth or American Ash for cooler tones. We finish in‑house in our Hawke’s Bay factory, using a natural clear coat or custom stains/washes per your palette. Ask for samples to see the tone and grain in real light.
