Halcyon HQ Project

Industrial meets commercial in South Auckland’s new Halcyon HQ & Distribution Centre. As a hybrid development, the building features a 2,700m2 warehouse interconnected with a 600m2 two level office and showroom.

The scissor staircase joining the two levels boasts a unique screen and balustrade design by Featurecraft. Our MDF battens with a Black Smoked Oak Veneer create a safe and functional architectural stair system that also becomes a design focal point for the space.

Due to the dramatic length of the battens, a specialised clip and joining system was created alongside engineers to ensure premium stability and longevity.

Batten Dimensions: 50mm x 90mm spanning 8 meters high.
