This library was transformed into a modern Learning Hub to offer a flexible space to research, study, collaborate and socialise.The 70 year old building was refurbished and adapted into a warm, inviting space that honours the practice of visual storytelling within Te Ao Māori.
Featurecraft's MDF Battens were selected for the ceiling as they achieve a 1-S Fire Rating with no coating required, acoustic backing panels were also applied to assist with the building's acoustic requirements. Solid Oak battens were best suited for the walls due to their hard-wearing qualities, making them a perfect choice for a school environment.
